Born in Portugal, Mr. Magalhaes is fluent in Portugese; also, he is conversational in Spanish.

Joao F. Magalhaes concentrates his practice areas in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and public and government affairs.

As a law student, Mr. Magalhaes served as Vice President of the Criminal Law Society and Social Chair for the Corporate Law Society.
